Supplies you need to make a 4th of July crown craft
- 4th of July crown template (You can get access to our free printables by signing up for our newsletters below)
- Two white A4 construction papers (To print the template)
- One A4 cardstock (blue or red)
- A4 construction papers (blue or red or both)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Elastic band
- Hole punch (optional)
How to make a patriotic paper crown craft?
Step 1
Download and print the free printable crown template on two white A4 construction papers. You can get access to our printable library by signing up for our newsletters below.
After you sign up, you will get an email to confirm your subscription and once you confirm, you will get another email with a link and password to access our printable library. Open the printable library and you will be able to find our patriotic paper crown template under the section “4th of July”.

Step 2
Print out the template on two white A4 construction papers.
Cut out the parts of page 2.
Using the bigger rectangle, trace and cut out a rectangle piece from a red or blue A4 cardstock.

Step 3
Stick the two white paper strips on this rectangle piece and set it aside.

Step 4
Cut out the stars from page 1. You can choose to cut out a few or all of the stars.
Use some of the white stars to trace and cut out colored stars from blue or red construction papers.

Step 5
Once you have enough stars, you can start to stick them on the rectangle piece we set aside from step 3. Kids can try out different patterns while sticking them.

Step 6
Once you are happy with the look of the crown, punch two holes using a hole punch or scissors on either side of the rectangle piece. Thread an elastic band through these holes and secure it on both ends.

Your beautiful 4th of July crown craft is ready! Now, time to wear it!
