Steps to Make our patriotic paper bracelets
So, get your colors ready and let’s begin this fun craft!
Step 1
Download the 4th of July paper bracelet template and choose the bracelet size you prefer. Print it onto white construction paper or thin cardstock.
Simply enter your details in the form below to access the template and join our newsletter.

Step 2
Color in the template using red and blue shades. Kids can decide which parts to color red, which parts to color blue, and which areas to leave white. This makes the activity extra fun because they can come up with their own creative bracelet designs.
The first bracelet design also comes with an extra stripe piece that can be glued on top. We chose to leave ours white without coloring it. You can decorate it however you like or simply leave it off if you prefer.

Step 3
After coloring in the template, carefully cut out the bracelets. Younger kids may need a little help with the cutting steps.

Step 4
After cutting out the bracelet, we glued the white stripe piece across the plain bracelet design.

Step 5
Now comes the final step that turns it into a wearable bracelet. You will see dashed lines on either side of the bracelet. Carefully cut along those dashed lines, stopping halfway each time. Make sure not to cut all the way through the bracelet.

Step 6
Turn the bracelet over to the uncolored side and gently bring both ends inward.

Step 7
Tuck the slits into each other so the bracelet stays closed.

Step 8
Similarly, make cuts along the dashed lines on both sides of the other bracelet as well. Then tuck the slits into each other to close the bracelet.

Wasn’t this paper bracelet super easy to make? The USA flag theme makes it perfect for wearing on the 4th of July to celebrate Independence Day. Kids will love wearing it around their wrists and securing the slits together to keep the bracelet in place.
