How to make a Carrot garland Easter craft
Making this carrot craft is very easy. Follow the step by step instructions below.
Step 1
To make an accordion carrot craft, get a small piece of orange paper (approx.15 x 6 cm).
Now, fold it in accordion manner as shown below.
Step 2
Fold the paper accordion in half and get a ‘V’ shape.
Apply glue with a glue stick at the inner sides of this ‘V’ shape and stick them together firmly.
You have got the accordion carrot shape.
Step 3
Let’s make the leaves now. Get a green paper(approx.18 x 6 cm) and make ‘V’ shaped cuts on it from one end to the other. They don’t need to be of the same size. This is a great activity to improve the scissor skills in kids.
Now, apply glue at the lower part of it with glue stick. Then, fold it inwards from one end to the other as shown below and press it firmly to fix everything in place. Stick this behind the accordion carrot.
Step 4
Make a lot of these accordion carrots and stick them on a yarn using tacky glue to make a garland. (Grown ups may have to help kids with this step if you are using hot glue.)
The carrot craft Easter garland is ready. How pretty is this!
