These silly-looking monsters are one of the cutest craft ideas for kids using paper straws.
For this monster craft, you will need a few colorful paper straws and cardstock. You can add some googly eyes or pom poms to make the monster’s eyes.
Kids will enjoy customizing their monsters to make them as silly or as scary as they want! They can add two eyes or five eyes, two hands, or three hands. No need to stick to any rules, and this is why we love monster crafts so much. What a fun Halloween craft idea for kids!
This is an easy monster craft you can make with preschoolers, toddlers, and kindergarteners. They are perfect to be played as monster puppets too.

Supplies you need to make this easy monster craft
1. Paper straws
2. Scissors
3. PVA Glue
4. Cardstock paper
5. Googly eyes
6. Coloring pens
7. White construction paper
Steps to make an easy monster craft with paper straws

Grab a few paper straws and cardstock paper.

Step 2
Cut the paper straws into smaller pieces of equal length using scissors. Leave one paper straw as such.

Step 3
Spread some PVA glue on the cardstock paper.

Step 4
Start sticking the paper straws on the cardstock paper. Stick the long paper straw in the middle.

Step 5
Once all the paper straws are fixed in place, wait for a few minutes for the glue to dry.>

Step 6
Cut out the cardstock around the straws using scissors.


Step 7
Now, stick 2 googly eyes on the monster’s face.
Draw a funny mouth and stick it on its face.


Step 8
Now, attach two hands.

And the monster puppet is ready!
