How to make an easy unicorn paper craft with a bobblehead?
Step 1
Purchase the paper unicorn craft template from our shop. Download and print the unicorn’s body and face templates on white A4 cardstocks.
Print the last page of the unicorn template on different colored A4 construction papers (if you want a multicolored chain). We used pink, purple, and blue papers for our paper chain. You can also print it on white A4 construction papers and color it.

Step 2
Paint the unicorn’s ears, legs, horn, cheeks, and the stars in the background using watercolor or crayons. Let the paint dry and cut out the unicorn’s face, a pair of eyes, cheeks, body, four legs, stars, and the rectangle shapes to stick under the legs and face.
Now, cut out the paper strips from the colored A4 construction paper to make paper chains.

Step 3
Let’s start making the paper chains for the tail first.
Take one paper strip and glue the ends together to form a loop. Now, take a second strip and insert it through the loop. Glue ends together to form an interconnected loop. Now, take a third paper strip and thread it through the second loop. Again, glue the ends of the third paper strip to form a third loop. Continue this until you are happy with the length of the paper chain. We made two paper chains for the tail, one with 5 loops and the other one with 4 loops.
To stick the paper chain behind the unicorn’s body, thread a paper strip through the first loop of each of the paper chains and glue the ends together to form a teardrop-shaped loop, instead of a circle.

Step 4
Apply glue outside these teardrop-shaped loops. Now stick them behind the unicorn’s body at the bottom corner one by one to form a tail.
Now, apply glue behind the unicorn’s body and stick it to the yellow A4 cardstock. Make sure you leave enough space at the top and bottom for us to stick the face and legs in the next steps.
Stick the two front legs in front of the unicorn’s body.

Step 5
Let’s stick the other two legs now. Cut out the rectangle strips to stick behind one leg and start folding them in an accordion manner.
To make the accordion fold, stick them together at a 90-degree angle. Fold the bottom strip over the top strip and crease the fold. Again, take the bottom strip over the top one and crease the fold. Repeat it till you run out of paper. Secure the ends at the last fold by adding a dab of glue.
Stick one end of the accordion fold behind one leg and the other end on the yellow cardstock just below the unicorn’s body.
Do the same steps for the other leg too.

Step 6
Let’s get the unicorn’s face ready. First, we need to make 4 small paper chains for the unicorn’s hair. These are smaller than the ones we made for the tail.
Take one paper strip and glue the ends together to form a loop. Now, thread a paper strip through this first loop and glue the ends together to form a teardrop-shaped loop. You have made one paper chain for the hair. Make 3 more of that.
Make a fold on the teardrop-shaped loop, apply some glue on the fold and stick that part behind the unicorn’s face, leaving the rest of the paper chain falling to the front. Do the same with all 4 paper chains.
Stick the two eyes below the hair. Draw some eyelashes and a smile for the unicorn and finally stick the cheeks.

Step 7
Cut out the rectangle strip to stick behind the face and let’s start folding them in an accordion manner.
Stick one end of the accordion fold behind the unicorn’s face at the center.

Stick the other end of the accordion fold on the yellow cardstock above the unicorn’s body.
Our cute unicorn craft is ready.

Stick this onto the wall using a blu tack or clear tape and tap the unicorn’s face gently. You will see the unicorn’s head bobble!
Look at these gorgeous unicorns! How cute are they?!
