This fingerprint flower card is a beautiful last-minute craft idea for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s day, spring, or even as a Birthday-card!
It can be made with buttons or pom poms around the fingerprint. Stick a small flower-pot cut out of cardstock at the bottom, write your message inside and the beautiful flower card is ready!
My 3-year-old enjoyed making this flower card, especially sticking the buttons around her fingerprint. Let’s see how to make this easy flower card! This is a simple craft idea to do with toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary school kids.
Supplies you need to make a fingerprint flower card with buttons
1. Cardstock paper (white for the flower, any other color for the flower pot)
3. PVA glue, hot glue
5. Paper straw
Steps- How to make a fingerprint button flower card
Let’s see the steps involved in making this fingerprint flower card.
Let your little one make a fingerprint on a small square piece of white cardstock. Stick buttons around it. You may also stick pom poms instead of buttons. We used PVA glue to stick the buttons. Once the glue is dried, cut out the flower carefully using scissors.
Stick a paper straw cut in half, behind the flower using hot glue or clear tape.
For the flower-pot, get a piece of heavy construction paper or cardstock and fold it in half. Now, cut it in the shape of a flower-pot and write the message inside. Stick the flower pot at the bottom of the paper straw.
The fingerprint flower card is ready!
