The printable template has four pages. The first three pages are the turkey’s feathers which you can print on colored cardstock or white cardstock. If you print them on white cardstock, let the kids color the feathers using crayons or watercolor. Print the fourth page with the turkey’s head and body on white cardstock or construction paper.
Cut the feathers and the two rectangles out of the cardstock.
Now, paint the turkey’s head, body, legs, beak, and wattle. We used watercolor to paint this. Cut these parts out along with a pair of eyes.

Step 2
Stick the legs behind the turkey’s body.
Now, stick the wattle on the turkey’s face, followed by the beak and the eyes.
Stick the biggest feather on white cardstock. We used red feather first.
Stick the turkey’s body at the bottom of this feather as you can see in the pic.

Step 3
Make a big paper loop with one of the rectangle shapes and stick it in the middle of the feather. Apply PVA glue on it.

Step 4
Get the next biggest feather and stick it on top of the paper loop. You will need to press it down gently for a few seconds for it to stay in place. Wait till the glue dries.

Step 5
Let’s make one more paper loop with the remaining rectangle shape and stick it in the middle of the second feather. Apply some PVA glue on it.

Step 6
Stick the smallest feather on the paper loop. Press that gently for a few seconds till it stays in place. Wait for the glue to dry.

Step 7
Finally, add the turkey’s face with the top half of it sticking on the smallest feather and the bottom half unglued.

The beautiful 3d paper turkey craft is ready. It has feathers in fall leaf colors. We made one more turkey craft with colorful feathers. Aren’t they so pretty?
