How to make an icecream handprint Father’s Day card

Step 1

Get an A4 cardstock, fold it in half and let your child place their hand on it with the wrist portion along the folded side. Trace the handprint using a pencil and cut it out. Make sure you don’t cut along the folded side.

Step 2

Download our free ice cream cone template and print it on white A4 cardstock. You can access the template by signing up for our newsletters below.

Step 3

Kids can now color the ice cream cone using markers/crayons/watercolor etc. Color the small circle red for the cherry. You can color in the mouth too. Cut out each part.

Stick the paper cone under the folded handprint. Stick the red circle on top of the handprint along the folded side.

Step 4

Stick tiny paper pieces on the handprint to look like sprinkles. Open the top handprint and write your special Father’s day message inside- “Dad, you are the coolest!”

You can stick the eyes and mouth either on the top of the card or inside the card.
