How to make a Santa craft?
Step 1
Download and print the santa printable template. It comes with step-by-step instructions along with photographs and the paper chain Santa template.
(Pages 1 and 2 are the instructions, pages 3, 4, and 5 are the black-and-white versions, and pages 6,7, and 8 are the colored versions of the Santa Claus template. )

Step 2
Stick the red hat on top of Santa’s face. Then stick the long white strip of paper over the bottom of the hat. Now, stick the white circle at the tip of the hat.

Step 3
Stick Santa’s two eyes and nose below the hat followed by the moustache. Make sure you leave some space below the moustache to stick our paper chains.

Step 4
Let’s make the paper chains for Santa’s beard now. Print the last page of the Santa template on an A4 construction paper. You can print out two copies of this page if you want a longer chain.
Now cut out the rectangles from the template.
Once you have enough paper strips cut out, it is time to start making the paper chains.
Take one paper strip and glue the ends together to form a loop. Now, take a second strip and insert it through the loop. Glue the ends together to form an interconnected loop. Now, take a third paper strip and thread it through the second loop. Again, glue the ends of the third paper strip to form a third loop. Continue this until you are happy with the length of the paper chain.
We made five paper chains- one with 7 loops, two with 6 loops, and two with 5 loops.

Step 5
First, we glued the longest paper chain with 7 loops to the middle of Santa’s chin. Then we glued the paper chains with 6 loops on either side of it followed by the paper chains with 5 loops.
We also made two single paper loops which we glued on either side of Santa’s face just above the beard.

Our paper chain beard Santa craft is ready!
Stick a ribbon or thread behind Santa’s face using tape and hang it as Christmas decor!
