Paper glasses Father’s day superhero craft

Make a pair of super dad eyeglasses for your dad to make him feel super special this Fathers day. This paper glasses Father’s day superhero craft is so easy to make and comes with a free printable template.

These DIY glasses make a great last-minute father’s day craft to do with toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and school-age kids. My daughter loved making these paper glasses for daddy with her newly earned scissor skills.

Supplies you need to make super dad glasses

1. Super dad glasses printable (You can download it by signing up to our newsletter below)
2. A4 Cardstock
3. Scissors
4. Black marker
5. Crayons or color pencils or paint
6. Glue stick
7. Craft knife , for adult-use only

Paper glasses Father’s day superhero craft- Step by step instructions

Step 1

Download and print the super dad eyeglasses template on A4 cardstock. You can access the printable library by signing up for our newsletters below.

First, let’s make the spiderman themed eyeglasses craft. For that, we printed the template on a red cardstock.

Now, draw lines on the glasses with a black marker to look like a spider web. Cut out each part from the template using scissors. Using a craft knife, cut the eye holes out of the glasses. Please note, adults may have to help kids with this step.

Step 2

Now, stick the inverted V shape on top of the paper glasses at the back side. Write your Super Dad message on this inverted V shape.

Crease the side tabs towards the back. Stick each of the arms onto a side tab. The spiderman glasses craft is ready.

Step 3

For the superman glasses, we printed the template on a white cardstock and colored it using color pencils. You may also use crayons or paint for this part.

Then we followed the same steps mentioned in Step 1 and Step 2 to make the superman glasses craft.

Our super dad Father’s day craft is ready. Now, let daddy wear it and don’t forget to take some funny pics!
