Steps to make a heart fish craft
This heart-shaped fish craft is so easy to make and takes only a few simple steps.
Step 1
Download and print the paper heart fish template on a white A4 cardstock or construction paper. (If you are going to paint your fish using watercolor, it may be better to use cardstock instead of construction paper).

Step 2
Let the kids paint the heart shapes in their favorite colors. We used watercolor to paint the hearts. You may also use crayons or markers. Kids can really get creative in this step by trying out a combination of different colors.
You can also cut out the parts and trace them on colored paper if you don’t want to paint and avoid any mess.
Step 3
Cut out the heart shapes. Stick the small heart shape in front of the big heart shape to make the fish’s body and tail. Then stick one small heart shape on either side for the fins, one at the front for the lip, and a few more for the scales.
Finally, choose an eye for the fish and stick it at the front.
