Steps to Make a Paper Monster Craft with Feeding Activity
Making this cute paper monster is quick and easy! Follow the simple steps below to create your own fun monster craft.
Step 1
First, download the printable monster craft template by signing up through the form below. It also includes the Feed the Monster activity printable.
Then, print page 1 on colored cardstock. Print page 2 on white cardstock paper. Print page 3 on colored construction paper and page 4 on white construction paper.
Step 2
First, color the nose black with a marker. Then, carefully cut out all the pieces of the monster template.
Next, trace the bottom piece of the template onto colored cardstock that matches the color used for page 1. If you’re using the monster hair piece, trace it onto colored construction paper and cut it out.

Step 3
Next, use a paper knife to carefully cut out the dashed-line rectangle from the monster body piece.

Step 4
Similarly, cut out the rectangle from the mouth piece.

Step 5
Now, draw some teeth and a tongue on the mouth using a black marker. Then, color the area around them black. Next, color the tongue red.

Step 6
Fold the monster body piece in half.

Step 7
Next, carefully stick the mouth piece onto the monster body, aligning the rectangular cutout holes.

Step 8
Next, stick the eyes above the mouth. Feel free to use just one eye or add more than two for a silly monster look.

Step 9
Make a tab by folding inward along the dashed lines at both ends of the monster body piece.

Step 10
Next, apply glue to the folded tabs. Stick the monster bottom piece onto the tabs at both ends to create a 3D rectangular monster body.

Step 11
Next, stick the hands onto the arm pieces. Attach the arms to both sides of the monster body.

Step 12
Now, make two or more antennae by sticking the circle shapes onto the rectangular strips. Slightly fold the other end of each strip to create a tab. Stick the tabs onto the top of the monster body.

Step 13
Now, decorate the monster’s face with extra eyes, circles, or other fun details.

Step 14
You can now make another monster by following the same steps above. Instead of adding antennae, use the hair piece. Create a small tab at the bottom of the hair piece and apply some glue there.

Step 15
Now, stick the tab onto the top of the monster’s head.

Cut out the rectangular monster food pieces. Now, kids can have fun feeding the monsters!
Simply insert the eyeballs, muffins, pumpkins, and candies through the rectangular hole in the monster’s mouth. Have fun making up silly monster stories and enjoying pretend play together.

Just look at how playful these silly little monsters are!
