How many popsicle sticks do you need to make a house?
For our popsicle stick house, we used approximately 250 popsicle sticks and a lot of hot glue. You can get a rough idea of the number of popsicle sticks you need from the plan you draw.
I strongly recommend the use of wood glue instead of hot glue if small kids are trying this.

I recommend you watch the below video to see my popsicle stick house tutorial. As this is such a large project, I feel it will be easier to understand it from a video.
I have also included the pics of a few important steps below!
How I made a wall
I stacked the popsicle sticks and glued them together using another two popsicle sticks placed vertically as shown below. Adjust the number of sticks according to the height of the wall you want.
How I made a window
I made a simple window by cutting 4 popsicle sticks using scissors and gluing them together. Then I glued a piece of net fabric to make a curtain.
How I made the front entrance
The pics below will give you an idea.
I stacked a few popsicle sticks, glued them together, and cut it into a triangle form which I attached to the front entrance.
Assembling the parts to make a mini popsicle stick house
I made a popsicle stick platform to which I assembled all the walls and roofs.
Then I added a fence and stairs.
Finally, I decorated my house with some flowers.
