Okay! So here I come with my latest experiment with Popsicle sticks. In this popsicle stick house tutorial, you will learn all the basic tricks to make the walls, windows, fence, and stairs to build a beautiful little craft house.
I would say, making this craft is a fantastic boredom buster for teenagers, tweens, and adults! This is also something parents and kids can do together. The kids can draw a plan of the house beforehand which will help them calculate the number of walls and windows needed. Decide the height and width and stack the popsicle sticks accordingly. This is a fun STEM project to develop the engineering and math skills of kids.
This popsicle house is a fun summer project for tweens and teens. For more summer craft ideas, be sure to check out our huge collection of fun summer crafts for kids.
For my popsicle stick house, I used approximately 250 popsicle sticks and a lot of glue. (I need to visit the craft shop soon to buy my next set of glue sticks!) I strongly recommend the use of a wood glue instead of hot glue if kids are trying this.

Popsicle stick house tutorial
I recommend you watch the below video to see my popsicle stick house tutorial. As this is such a large project, I feel it will be easier to understand it from a video.
I have also included the pics of a few essential steps below!
How I made a wall
I stacked the popsicle sticks and glued them together using another set of popsicle sticks as shown below. Adjust the number of sticks according to the height of the wall you want.
How I made a window
I made a simple window by cutting 4 popsicle sticks using scissors and gluing them together. Then I glued a piece of net fabric to make a curtain.
How I made the front entrance
The pics below will give you an idea.
I stacked a few popsicle sticks, glued them together and cut it into a triangle form which I attached to the front entrance.
Assembling the parts
I made a popsicle stick platform to which I assembled all the walls and roofs.
Then I added fence and stairs.
Finally, I decorated my house with some flowers.
