Print the template on thick white A4 construction paper. (We recommend using thick paper if kids are going to paint it to avoid it turning soggy. If they use color pencils, you don’t need a thick paper).
Step 2
Kids can now paint the rainbow, the pot, the coins, and the shamrock leaves using acrylic paint. They can also color it using color pencils. They can be as creative as they want with the color of their rainbows and come up with their own unique ideas!

Step 3
Once the paint dries, cut out the parts from the template. Kids may need help with cutting depending on their age and skill levels.

Step 4
Stick the smaller side of the rainbow behind the tip of the pot.
Now, get a colored A4 cardstock and stick the pot on its bottom right. (Make sure you don’t glue the rainbow to the cardstock, but only the pot.)
Make a small paper roll using a paper strip and stick it behind the other edge of the rainbow. Stick the opposite side of the paper roll onto the cardstock. This gives the rainbow a 3D look by making it slightly elevated.
Now, stick the bigger cloud shape above the bigger side of the rainbow covering its straight edge.

Step 5
Stick the gold coins on the top and around the black pot. Finally, decorate it by sticking the shamrock leaves and the small cloud shape.
Our beautiful pot of gold craft is ready!
