How to make a rocking paper plate teddy bear craft for kids
Step 1
Get three paper plates. Take two of them, hold them together, and cut off one-third of those paper plates.
Now, take the third paper plate. Cut off the rim and get the circle.

Step 2
Stick the circle shape inside one of the other two paper plates on the top along the straight edge.
Get the third paper plate, and place it over it with its outside coming on top. Now attach it to the bottom paper plate just near the sides of the circle using two stapler pins.
Draw two curved lines on each side and cut off the paper plates along these lines. Make sure you do not cut off the parts where the stapler pins are. The cuts should be made outside the stapler pins.

Step 3
Our teddy bear’s body is ready. Kids can now paint it using acrylic paint.
While the paint dries, download and print the teddy bear template on A4 cardstock.

After printing the template, kids can color the teddy bear’s legs, hands, and heart shape using crayons or acrylic paint. Cut out each shape from the template.
Draw three lines on each hand for the teddy bear’s fingers. Stick the two black oval shapes on each leg and paint three black dots above them. Stick the black circle shape on the nose and draw two curved lines below that.

Step 4
Let’s stick each part from the template onto the teddy bear’s body. Stick the two eyes and nose on the circle shape. Stick the heart shape below the nose and the two hands on each side of the heart shape. Then stick the two legs.

Finally, stick the ears behind the circle shape and write your special message on the heart shape. The teddy bear craft is ready!
Now, make the teddy bear’s body more wide open by gently pushing the bottom paper plates apart from the inside so you will see an inverted V shape on the sides. Place it on the table and tap its sides gently. You will see the teddy bear rocking. Isn’t it so cute?!
