Steps- How to make a Shamrock man bookmark- St.Patrick’s day crafts for kids

Making this shamrock man bookmark craft is very easy. Watch the video at the top or follow the step by step instructions below.

Step 1

Download and print the Shamrock man template on a white A4 paper.

Step 2

Cut out the shapes from the template. Trace the shamrock leaf template on a green cardstock and the Shamrock man’s pants on a yellow cardstock. Cut them out.

Step 3

Paint a popsicle stick with your desired color. Let the paint dry. Then, apply a little bit of wood glue/PVA glue near one end of the popsicle stick. Even a dot would suffice. Stick the yellow cardstock over there. (Make sure the pants are not completely stuck on the popsicle stick and the bottom part remains free.)

Now, apply a bit of glue at the top and stick the shamrock leaf cardstock over there.

Step 3

Now, stick two googly eyes, draw a mouth and cut out two green color shoes from the cardstock. Draw any patterns on the shoes as you like and attach it to the pants using a dab of glue.

Cut out two arms from yellow cardstock and stick a hand on one arm. Then attach them behind the shamrock man’s face.

The shamrock man bookmark craft is ready. You can also use it as puppet craft. 🙂

To use it as a bookmark, insert the page between the popsicle stick and the yellow pants.
