Steps to make a paper lemonade craft
Step 1
First, download the lemonade craft printable template and print it on a white cardstock. You can purchase the template from our shop.

Step 2
Next, kids can color the template using watercolors. Using light watercolors helps create a beautiful transition effect and gives the craft a fresh lemonade look.
Let them experiment with different colors, starting with the lemonade glass. We first painted it with green, then added blue by slightly overlapping the edges with the green. After that, we added yellow by slightly overlapping the blue at the edges. Then we painted it once again for a second coat.
Next, we painted the big and small circle fruit pieces. We painted the big one in light orange and the small one in yellow.
Then we painted the 3D ice pieces in a very light bluish shade. We also painted a small patch of light blue color to draw our bubbles in the later steps.
Finally, let the watercolor dry.

Step 3
Next, draw a plus line passing through approximately the center of the big circle using an orange marker.

Step 4
Next, draw two more lines across the circle so it is divided into eight sections.
Now add a big dot in the middle of the circle. After that, kids can draw a thick circle just inside the black outline of the printable.
These simple lines help the circle look like a bright orange slice ready to drop into our lemonade!

Step 5
Next, draw similar lines in the yellow circle using a light green marker. This helps the small fruit piece look like a bright lemon slice.
Then move to the light blue patch we painted earlier. Using a blue marker, draw a few small circle shapes to create bubbly lemonade details.

Step 6
Next, carefully cut out all the parts from the template. This includes the lemonade glass, orange and lemon slices, ice cubes, and bubbles.
Then stick the orange slice on the top corner of the lemonade glass.
After that, cut the small lemon slice into two pieces. Finally, stick the pieces inside the glass along with the ice cubes to create a fun and refreshing lemonade scene.

Step 7
Next, stick the bubbles inside the lemonade glass.
Finally, stick the completed lemonade glass onto a piece of colored cardstock. This gives the craft a bright background and makes it perfect for displaying.

Step 8
Next, cut a small piece from a cupcake liner to make an umbrella and glue it to the top left corner of the lemonade glass.

Step 9
Next, let’s add a straw to our lemonade. Bend a paper straw at the top, then use a glue stick to attach it to the lemonade glass.
Now the lemonade looks complete and is perfect for a fun summer drink craft.

Finally, we added some extra detail by drawing a small black stroke on each of the ice cubes.
Our lemonade summer craft is ready. Look at how pretty and bright it turned out!
